Daisy Dots – Lacy Crochet Motif with Join

October 12, 2024 //  by mezza//  Leave a Comment

Daisy Dots is an easy, Lacy Crochet Motif with Join. This simple motif creates a very pretty, open fabric. Made up of only two rounds resembling a daisy, this circular motif is treated as a hexagon, i.e. a six-sided motif.

Daisy Dots crochet motifs are joined whilst making the final round with sc (UK dc) & sl sts.
You can get this free pattern, with step by step photo tutorials from my online Crochet Motif Pattern Directory.

For best results, please use natural fibres such as cotton, linen or wool blends. This kind of lacey motif does not work well in plastic yarns such as acrylic because it doesn’t have stitch memory.

In my sample, I have used Paintbox DK Cotton Yarn and a 3.5mm crochet hook.
Each motif uses 1.32g (3.3m / 3.61yds) & measures approx. 7cm / 2 3/4 inches across.

Download your free PDF pattern for Daisy Dots – Lacy Crochet Motif with Join (part of my Crochet Motif Pattern Directory).

If you prefer video tutorials, I will also be publishing that soon! I just need to edit it.
