1. BOOKING AND PAYMENT
A booking cannot be made without payment & completion of the booking form. We regret that it is not possible to make reservations without payment. The course is offered subject to availability and places are limited to a maximum of 8 students for beginners’ classes and 10-12 for other classes (depending on the venue).
2. BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Once the payment and booking form have been received, you will be notified by email that your place on the course is confirmed. If you have paid and completed the booking form but have not received a confirmation email, please contact mezzamay@icloud.com .
3. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE “LEARN TO CROCHET COURSES”
The course is carefully structured so that each week we build on what we have learnt in the previous week. Therefore, Week 1 is compulsory. It is not possible to continue with the course if you miss the first week because I am not able to teach 2 different parts of the course in during the next class.
4. BOOKINGS ARE NON TRANSFERABLE
This means that if you sign up for a course and find you need to cancel or change it outside of the 14 day cancellation period, I will not be able to move you to another similar course without requiring additional payment.
5. EMAIL UPDATES
Please note that the contact email address used when booking your course will be used to update you on any potential changes affecting the course you have booked. It is vital that you use an email address which you check regularly. We do not share your details with any third party.
6. STUDENT CANCELLATIONS
Refunds for the course can only be given up to 14 days before the start of the course and are subject to an administration fee of £15.
IMPORTANT CANCELLATION POLICY UPDATE
I have hesitated to implement this policy in the past, although it has always been in place as part of my terms & conditions. However, due to a high dropout rate for some of my recent courses, sometimes days before the course starts, I have been left in a situation where I am often not covering my costs and/or earning even a minimum wage. Therefore, I regret that I will now have to implement the policy so that I am able to continue teaching. Should you need to cancel, refunds for the course can only be given up to 14 days before the start of the course and are subject to an administration fee of £15. After this time, I am unable to issue refunds as I have already committed to the hire of the venue and the purchase of all course materials and it doesn’t leave me enough time to find a replacement student to make the course financially viable. Of course, full refunds will be given in the event that the course is cancelled due to Riverhouse Barn or I cancelling the course. Thank you for your understanding.
7. MISSED CLASSES
Credit is not given for missed sessions.
8. STAFF ILLNESS/CANCELLATION OF COURSE BY RIVERHOUSE/MEZZACRAFT
In the event of staff illness, Riverhouse/Mezzacraft will endeavour to add an extra date at the end of the course. If this is not possible, credit can be used for any other course the following term, or a refund will be offered. If the full course is cancelled by the Riverhouse/Mezzacraft, full refunds will be issued.
