Vibrant Visible Mending with Crochet – 2 Week Friday Daytime Course – Walton-on-Thames

On this course, you’ll learn how to use crochet to mend your clothes whilst visibly enhancing them! So don’t throw out that favourite sweater or shirt just because it’s got a hole… I’ll show you lots of fun ways in which to repair AND liven up your garments.

We’ll also be using a bit of sewing and embroidery to compliment the process.

Skill Level

Suitable for improvers and more advanced students.

Course Location

We will be at the Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre, Manor Road, Walton-on-Thames KT12 2PF.

Course Dates

This is a 2 week course, running on Friday afternoons.

Week 1: Friday 9th June 2023 12:30-2:30pm
Week 2: Friday 16th June 2023 12:30-2:30pm

Cost

• £30 for 2 weeks.

Please note : the cost of materials are not included in the course fees. I will have some supplies available to purchase.

What to bring

• An item or items of clothing that need repairing. If you don’t have anything that needs mending, you can also use the techniques to embellish anything made from fabric, such as a pillowcase, fabric bag or denim jacket.
• A selection of hooks.
• Embroidery floss.
• Scrap yarn.
