Crochet Clinic (one off sessions)- Farnham – 4/12/25 & 11/12/25

July 30, 2025 //  by mezza//  Leave a Comment

These are two off sessions at the Princess Royal Pub in Farnham (Runfold) from 10am-12pm on Thursday 4ht & 11th December 2025. Some students also stay for lunch afterwards.

What is a “Crochet Clinic”?

These are sessions I occasionally run where students can get help with their crochet projects. This can cover a range of different things:

  • Help with a project from one of my courses.
  • Help with a pattern.
  • Advice on starting a specific pattern such as yarn substitutions etc.
  • Advice on fixing mistakes.
  • Help on adjusting patterns for fit.

Please note: this is not the course for you if you want to learn to crochet or if you want to learn different types of crochet such as Tunisian. Additionally, if you need help with designing a garment from scratch, please book a one-to-one session or sign up for one of my design courses.

What to expect

I try to give everyone the same amount of time. If 6 people turn up, I will divide the 2 hour session into 6 x 20 minute slots and set a timer. It’s very tricky to calculate how much time each person will need but if you are not comfortable with this format, you may be better off booking me for a one-to-one session (which I generally only run during the school holidays).
When it’s not your turn, you can either work on a project of your own, or you can observe me helping the other students’ clinic slots. Many students have reported that they found it useful and interesting even if they don’t have that problem themselves.

If you’re currently stuck on a project, I advise bringing along another piece of crochet that you can work on while you wait for your slot.
